1.TO ENCOURAGE AND SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM THROUGH EDUCATION AND SPORT, IN PARTICULAR BASKETBALL. 2.THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE PLAYING OF BASKETBALL. 3.TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE PLAYING OF BASKETBALL IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE OF INDIVIDUALS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, INFIRMITY, DISABILITY OR FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.
