THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ARE RESTRICTED TO THE FOLLOWING FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THE YORKSHIRE DALES AND SURROUNDING AREAS: 1. THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED BY REASON OF YOUTH, AGE, ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AND ISOLATION IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF SUSTAINABLE TRANSPORT, COMMUNICATION AND RELATED SERVICES; 2. THE PROMOTION OF THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT BY MEANS INCLUDING THE REDUCTION OF ROAD TRAFFIC AND MINIMISING CARBON EMISSIONS AND OTHER HARMFUL EMISSIONS.
