TO ENCOURAGE SKILL IN RIFLE AND PISTOL SHOOTING BY PROVIDING INSTRUCTIONS IN THE USE OF SMALLBORE RIFLE AND PISTOL SHOOTING TO HER MAJESTY'S SUBJECTS SO THAT THEY WILL BE BETTER FITTED TO SERVE THEIR COUNTRY IN THE ARMED FORCES.
