TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN THORNES, WAKEFIELD, WEST YORKSHIRE, AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS BY PROVIDING THE OPPORTUNITY AND FACILITIES FOR PLAYING ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL SO AS TO DEVELOP THEIR PHYSICAL AND MENTAL CAPABILITIES THAT THEY MAY GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY.
