Shepreth Wildlife Conservation Charity (SWCC) was established in March 2011 to help fundraise for conservation work both home and abroad. The organisation will be responsible for raising funds and educating visitors about endangered species and also play a major role in providing funds for the on-site SWCC Hedgehog Rehabilitation Hospital.

TO ADVANCE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: (A) THE PREVENTION OR SUPPRESSION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS OR THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF SUFFERING OF ANIMALS (FALLING WITHIN THE DESCRIPTION OF CHARITABLE PURPOSES SET OUT IN PART 1 OF THE CHARITIES ACT 2006 BEING THE ADVANCEMENT OF ANIMAL WELFARE); (B) THE CONSERVATION OF WILDLIFE (IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE CONSERVATION OF ENDANGERED SPECIES) AND THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT; (C) EDUCATION IN PARTICULAR IN ANIMAL WELFARE, IN BRITISH FLORA AND FAUNA, IN ENDANGERED SPECIES AROUND THE WORLD AND THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT (IN PARTICULAR THE LOCAL NATURAL ENVIRONMENT).
