THE OBJECTS OF SURSAR SHALL BE TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING AND DISTRESS AMONGST PERSONS ENDANGERED BY ACCIDENTS, NATURAL HAZARDS OR IN ANYWAY DEEMED ENDANGERED BY THE POLICE BY:(1)PROVIDING ADEQUATE AND APPROPRIATE SEARCH RESOURCES TO SURREY POLICE AND ASSIST ALSAR AND LSDOGS UNITS IN SURROUNDING COUNTIES (2)PROVIDING ADEQUATE AND APPROPRIATE SEARCH AND RESCUE RESOURCES TO SURREY FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICE & SURREY'S EMERGENCY PLANNING OFFICERS.(3)PROVIDING ADEQUATE AND APPRORIATE SEARCH AND RESCUE RESOURCES TO ASSIST ANY CALL FOR ASSISTANCE BY OTHER AGENCIES.(4)TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN ALL MATTERS RELATING TO GENERAL SEARCH AND RESCUE AND DOG WELFARE.
