Charitable objects
1) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPIL OF COLUMBIA GRANGE SCHOOL BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES (NOT REQUIRED BY THE LOCAL AUTHORITY) FOR EDUCATION AT THE SCHOOL; 2)TO ACT AS A RESOURCE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE WITH AUTISTIC SPECTRUM DISORDERS BY PROVIDING ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE AND ORGANISING PROGRAMMES OF PHYSICAL, EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER ACTIVITIES AS A MEANS OF:(A) ADVANCING IN LIFE AND HELPING YOUNG PEOPLE BY DEVELOPING THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS INDEPENDENT, MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS;(B) ADVANCING EDUCATION;(C) PROVIDING RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITY IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR PEOPLE LIVING IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT WHO HAVE NEED BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, POVERTY OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES WITH A VIEW TO IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF SUCH PERSONS.3) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF PARENTS AND CARERS IN THE SUBJECT OF AUTISM AND TO 4) TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT THE GOOD HEALTH OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM AUTISM AND THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: A) PROVIDING INFORMATION, TRAINING AND SUPPORT TO FAMILIES AND CARERS; AND B) PROVIDING A RANGE OF LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES TO HELP THEM TO LEARN AND SOCIALISE IN A VARIETY OF SETTING AND THUS TO HELP DEVELOP THEIR COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND ABILITIES TO INTERACT IN AN APPROPRIATE MANNER.
