"THE OBJECT OF THE CHARITY SHALL BE TO SAVE LIVES, BY REDUCING NEONATAL MORTALITY AND PROMOTING THE HEALTH OF NEWBORN CHILDREN AND THEIR MOTHERS IN COUNTRIES WITH HIGH LEVELS OF NEONATAL MORTALITY AND ILLNESS AND IN PARTICULAR SOUTH EAST ASIA".
