Charitable objects
1. FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO ADVANCE IN LIFE AND HELP YOUNG PEOPLE UP THE AGE OF 21, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN THE SOUTHPORT AND MERSEYSIDE AREAS, BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES: (A) THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES PROVIDED IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE, IN PARTICULAR THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE PLAYING OF SPORTS AT ALL LEVELS, PARTICULARLY AT GRASS ROOTS LEVEL, INCLUDING FOOTBALL RUGBY CRICKET ATHLETICS CYCLING SWIMMING BASKETBALL AND MARTIAL ARTS; (B) THE PROVISION OF FUNDING TO SUPPORT ACTIVITIES WHICH DEVELOP THE BENFICIARIES SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS; (C) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION ( INCLUDING SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL TRAINING) OF YOUNG PERSONS ATTENDING SCHOOLS AND CLUBS IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF SUCH CHILDREN AND ANY YOUNG PERSONS; AND (D) THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO STUDENTS UNDERTAKING ENGINEERING SCHOLARSHIPS IN THE RAILWAY INDUSTRY IN CONJUNCTION WITH NETWORK RAIL AND KELTBRAY ASPIRE RAIL. 2. THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF THE HEALTH OF PARTICIPANTS, OFFICIALS AND SPECTATORS AT MOTORCYCLE SPORTS EVENTS REGULATED AND APPROVED BY THE FEDERATION INTERRATIONALE DEMOTOCYLISME (INTERNATIONAL MOTORCYCLING FEDERATION). 3. SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AS ARE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE
