Activities - how the charity spends its money
To advance education among children and young people in Kilifi, Kenya, mostly through Kesho Kenya Organisation but not exclusively. We also provide support to other educational charities on the coast of Kenya whose work supports our objectives. Most of our donations are from individuals who provide financial support to sponsor a child through school.

Charitable objects
1) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AMONG CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN KILIFI, KENYA IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH THE PROVISION OF GRANTS TO KESHO ORGANISATION AND OTHER CHARITIES OR ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN KENYA AND BY SUCH OTHER MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DETERMINE 2) TO PROMOTE THE EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS OF CHARITIES, NOT FOR PROFIT ORGANISATIONS AND VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN KENYA FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY THE PROVISION OF MANAGEMENT ADVICE AND PRACTICAL SUPPORT. FOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS CLAUSE, CHARITIES ARE ORGANISATIONS WHICH ARE ESTABLISHED FOR EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES. VOLUNTARY AND NOT FOR PROFIT ORGANISATIONS ARE INDEPENDENT ORGANISATIONS WHICH ARE ESTABLISHED FOR PURPOSES THAT ADD VALUE TO THE COMMUNITY AS A WHOLE, OR A SIGNIFICANT SECTION OF THE COMMUNITY AND WHICH ARE NOT PERMITTED BY THEIR CONSTITUTION TO MAKE A PROFIT FOR PRIVATE DISTRIBUTION. VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS DO NOT INCLUDE LOCAL GOVERNMENT OR OTHER STATUTORY AUTHORITIES.
