Acquisition and Restoration of Heritage Trams and opening the Fleetwood Tram Museum and Workshop in 2014 as a Visitor Attraction to assist the regeneration of the town, protect the heritage of these vehicles, provide an informative and educational facility for children and adults and employment and skills training in restoration and maintenance.

THE OBJECTS OF THE TRUST SHALL BE TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORY OF TRANSPORT AND IN PARTICULAR PUBLIC TRANSPORT BY MEANS OF THE ACQUISITION OF VEHICLES AND ARCHIVES OF HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE AND THE RESTORATION OF SUCH VEHICLES TO DISPLAY CONDITION. TO CONSERVE AND MAKE AVAILABLE FOR DISPLAY TO THE PUBLIC AND FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES TRAMCARS FORMALLY OPERATED ON THE BLACKPOOL TO FLEETWOOD TRAMWAY SINCE ITS INCEPTION THAT ARE RELEVANT TO THE LOCALITY AND UNIQUE IN BRITAIN. THE PRESERVATION OF STRUCTURES ASSOCIATED WITH THE ORIGINAL TRAMWAY OPENED IN 1898 AND ARTEFACTS INCLUDING POWER TRANSMISSION AND CONTROL EQUIPMENT AND TRAMWAY SIGNAGE AND FENCING.
