Activities - how the charity spends its money
Support for those affected by Myelodysplastic Syndrome, ("MDS"), which is a rare blood cancer. We provide: national & regional meetings with specialist speakers, a website & newsletter, campaigning for access to treatment, a networking service for MDS patients to share experiences & support; cooperate with all UK MDS clinical experts; support clinical trials and research into MDS.

1) TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND PRESERVE, PROMOTE AND PROTECT HEALTH OF SUFFERERS OF MYELODYSPLASTIC SYNDROME (MDS) IN THE UNITED KINGDOM THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT EDUCATION AND PRACTICAL ADVICE. 2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC 0001IN THE UNITED KINGDOM IN ALL AREAS IN RELATION TO MDS. 3) TO PROMOTE AND SUPPORT SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH INTO MDS, FOR THE TREATMENT OF MDS AND THE CARE OF SUFFERERS OF MDS, AND THOSE DISPOSED TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF SUFFERING MDS.
