Charitable objects
THE CHARITABLE PURPOSES OF THE COMPANY ARE TO FURTHER THE INTERESTS OF OR BENEFIT THE RESIDENTS OF UPTON AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD, WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION RACE OR OF, POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOICIATTING TOGETHER SAID RESIDENTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISAITIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTIVES OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID RESIDENTS AND IN FUTHERANCE THEREOF BUT NOT OTHERWISE: (A) TO ESTABILISH OR SECURE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A COMMUNITY CENTRE (B) TO MAINTAIN MANAGE OR COOPERATE WITH ANY STATUTORY AUTHORITY IN THE MAINTENANCE OR MANAGEMENT OF SUCH A CENTRE FOR ACITIVITIES PROMOTED BY THE CHARITY IN FURTHERANCE OF THE ABOVE OBJECTIVES.
