Charitable objects
1.THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY OF PEOPLE IN THE UK AND INDIA BY MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY FOR PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR ITEMS SERVICES OR FACILITIES FOR THE RELIEF OF THE SICK/POOR IN THE UK AND INDIA AND, EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY THROUGH PROVISIONS OF GRANTS, GOODS OR SERVICES. 2. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PUPILS IN VILLAGES IN INDIA BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR EDUCATION AT SCHOOLS AND ALSO TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL GRANTS OR SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS TO CONTINUE THEIR EDUCATION AND ACHIEVE THEIR FULL POTENTIAL. 3. TO RELIEVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, SICKNESS AND POOR HEALTH AMONGST ELDERLY PEOPLE. 4.THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL NEED AND SUFFERING AMONGST VICTIMS OF NATURAL OR OTHER KIND OF DISASTER IN THE FORM OF MONEY (OR OTHER MEANS DEEMED SUITABLE) FOR PERSONS, BODIES, ORGANISATIONS AND/OR COUNTRIES AFFECTED INCLUDING THE PROVISION OF MEDICAL AID.5. THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESENTATION OF HEALTH AMONGST PEOPLE RESIDING PERMANENTLY OR TEMPORARILY IN THE UK AND INDIA. 6. TO ADVANCE THE SIKH RELIGION IN THE UK FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THROUGH THE HOLDING OF PRAYER MEETINGS, LECTURES, PUBLIC CELEBRATIONS OF RELIGIOUS FESTIVALS, PRODUCING AND/OR DISTRIBUTING LITERATURE ON SIKHISM TO ENLIGHTEN OTHERS ABOUT THE SIKH RELIGION.
