THE OBJECTS OF THE SOCIETY ARE TO DO ANY ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: 1. TO PROMOTE HIGH STANDARDS OF PRACTICE IN THE SCIENTIFIC FIELD OF CLINICAL GAIT ANALYSIS AND TO REGULATE THE OPERATION OF CLINICAL GAIT LABORATORIES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND IRELAND BY THE PROVISION OF A SET OF OPERATIONAL QUALITY STANDARDS FOR CLINICAL MOVEMENT ANALYSIS AND ACCREDITATION SERVICES FOR CLINICAL GAIT LABORATORIES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND IRELAND; 2. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PROFESSIONALS INVOLVED IN CLINICAL MOVEMENT ANALYSIS IN ADULTS AND CHILDREN; 3. TO STIMULATE AND ADVANCE SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE, ENCOURAGE PROFESSIONAL INTERACTION, AND THE EXCHANGE OF IDEAS AMONG THE SOCIETY MEMBERS RELATING TO CLINICAL MOVEMENT ANALYSIS IN ADULTS AND CHILDREN IN CLINICAL AND RESEARCH SETTINGS.
