THE OBJECTIVE OF THE ASSOCIATION SHALL BE TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND PRESERVE THE GOOD HEALTH OF PERSONS IN BLACK COUNTRY AND THE SURROUNDING AREA'S, BY THE PREVISION OF TRAINED AND EQUIPPED VOLUNTEERS, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY RESPONDING TO CATEGORY A MEDICAL EMERGENCIES, AS DIRECTED BY WEST MIDLANDS AMBULANCE SERVICE.
