Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CENTRE SHALL BE THE PROMOTION AND ADVANCEMENT OF THE MUSLIM FAITH AND EDUCATION (PARTICULARLY ENGLISH LANGUAGE) IN THE SURROUNDING AREAS AND IN FURTHERANCE OF THESE OBJECTS, BUT NOT FURTHER OR OTHERWISE, THE CENTRE SHALL HAVE THE FOLLOWING POWERS: - A)THE ACQUISITION OF LAND OR BUILDINGS FOR THE PURPOSE OF ERECTING A MOSQUE AND FOR THE CONVERSION OF ANY BUILDINGS SO ACQUIRED TO THAT USE AND ALL NECESSARY PLANNING AND PREPARATION IN CONNECTION THEREWITH. B)THE HOLDING MAINTENANCE AND ADMINISTRATION OF ANY SUCH MOSQUE AND BUILDING SO ACQUIRED SO LONG AS THEY SHALL REMAIN PLACES OF WORSHIP, OR FOR THE TEACHING, PREACHING AND BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE MUSLIM FAITH. C)THE HOLDING OF SUCH MEETINGS WHICH MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE DESIRABLE AND THE PROVISION OF MEETING HALLS AND OTHER AMENITIES NECESSARY FOR THE PROMOTION AND ADVANCEMENT OF THE MUSLIM FAITH. D)THE RAISING OF SUCH FUNDS AS MAY BE NECESSARY FOR THE ATTAINMENT OF ANY OR ALL THE ABOVE MENTIONED OBJECTIVES. E)THE CENTRE IS A NON-PROFITABLE-MAKING BODY, AND ACCORDINGLY ALL INCOME COLLECTIONS AND FUNDS RECEIVED SHALL BE APPLIED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE OBJECTIVES THEREOF. F)THE CENTRE SHALL HAVE POWERS TO RUN EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES AND TO CONDUCT CLASSES, LECTURES ETC. IN THE ADVANCEMENT OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION AND ENGLISH LANGUAGE IN PARTICULAR.
