TO ENCOURAGE SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH FOR THE PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF SMOKING TO ARRANGE AND SPONSOR SCIENTIFIC MEETINGS RELEVANT TO THE OBJECTS TO PUBLISH AND OTHERWISE FOSTER THE EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION RELEVANT TO THE OBJECTS TO PROVIDE ADVICE ON THE AVAILABILITY OF RELEVANT INFORMATION TO HER MAJESTY'S GOVENMENT AND OTHER PUBLIC BODIES
