THE TRUSTEES SHALL APPLY THE CLEAR INCOME AND, AT THEIR DISCRETION, THE WHOLE OR PART OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CHARITY FOR THE RELIEF AND TREATMENT OF LEUKAEMIC CHILDREN UNDER SIXTEEN YEARS OF AGE WHO ARE RESIDENT IN THE COUNTY OF LEICESTERSHIRE IN SUCH WAYS AS THEY THINK FIT AND MAY ALSO APPLY SUCH INCOME AND PROPERTY IN THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR THE PARENTS, GUARDIANS OR OTHER PERSONS WHO HAVE THE IMMEDIATE CARE AND CONTROL OF SUCH CHILDREN AND WHO ARE IN NECESSITOUS CIRCUMSTANCES, IN ORDER THAT BETTER CARE MAY BE GIVEN TO SUCH CHILDREN.
