Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO COTLANDS IN SO FAR AS IT FURTHERS THE FOLLOWING CHARITABLE PURPOSES, NAMELY: 1. THE RELIEF AND ASSISTANCE OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES WHO ARE IN NEED BY REASON OF SICKNESS, DISABILITY, HARDSHIP OR OTHER DISADVANTAGE INCLUDING, WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, THE CARE AND TREATMENT OF THOSE CHILDREN WHO HAVE SUFFERED ABUSE, BEEN ABANDONED, NEGLECTED OR ORPHANED OR WHO ARE TERMINALLY ILL; 2. THE PREVENTION AND RELIEF OF POVERTY; AND 3. THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION; IN EACH CASE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT.
