Activities - how the charity spends its money
The Memorial is now erected and completed. It has proved very popular with the public in general and is being used for the Annual Remembrance Day and remembrance Sunday services. Names from conflicts, Post 1945, have now been added and a plaque dedicating it to the people of Chester-l-Street and marking the Time Capsule location has also been added.

Charitable objects
THE FOLLOWING OBJECTS (THE OBJECTS) ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT:- A)TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN A WAR MEMORIAL IN CHESTER-LE-STREET FOR THE COMMEMORATION OF ALL MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES WHO LIVING IN THE CHESTER LE STREET DISTRICT SUBSEQUENTLY FELL IN THE SERVICE OF THEIR COUNTRY DURING THE FIRST WORLD WAR AND LATER CONFLICTS; AND B)TO ADVANCE THE PUBLIC’S EDUCATION IN THE LOCAL HISTORY AND HERITAGE OF CHESTER-LE-STREET AND TO EDUCATE IN GENERAL ON WAR TIME CONFLICTS.
