Yemen Relief and Development Forum (YRDF) is a united effort among UK Yemenis which aims to facilitate effective teamwork in serving the people of the Yemen through a collective approach and a united voice with a neutral non-political affiliation. YRDF aim is to build capacities using local knowledge and expertise to deliver relief and development with a consultative community approach.

Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE: 1.1 TO PROMOTE THE EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS OF THE VOLUNTARY SECTOR INCLUDING BY ENCOURAGING AND SUPPORTING INNOVATION AND PROVIDING TRAINING, SERVICES AND SUPPORT; 1.2 TO RELIEVE AND ASSIST THE VICTIMS OF WAR, CONFLICT OR NATURAL DISASTER, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF FOOD, MEDICAL AID, ACCOMMODATION, ACCESS TO WATER AND SANITATION AND OTHER HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE, 1.3 PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY: 1.3.1 THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE IN SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITIES; 1.3.2 THE PRESERVATION, CONSERVATION AND PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND THE PRUDENT USE OF RESOURCES; 1.3.3 THE PROMOTION OF SUSTAINABLE MEANS OF ACHIEVING ECONOMIC GROWTH AND REGENERATION; ?SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT? MEANS ?DEVELOPMENT WHICH MEETS THE NEEDS OF THE PRESENT WITHOUT COMPROMISING THE ABILITY OF FUTURE GENERATIONS TO MEET THEIR OWN NEEDS?; AND 1.4 SUCH OTHER PURPOSES WHICH ARE CHARITABLE UNDER THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE. IN PARTICULAR FOR BUT NOT LIMITED FOR THE BENEFIT OF PEOPLE IN THE REPUBLIC OF YEMEN AND SURROUNDING COUNTRIES AND PEOPLE OF YEMENI ORIGIN IN OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD.
