TO HELP CARE LEAVERS IN NEED WHO RECEIVE INADEQUATE PUBLICLY FUNDED SUPPORT. THAT HELP CAN INCLUDE: 1.FINANCIAL SUPPORT THROUGH GRANTS TOWARDS THE COST OF EDUCATION, TRAINING AND OTHER APPROPRIATE RESOURCES OR FACILITIES INCLUDING HOUSEHOLD GOODS; 2.ADVICE, INFORMATION AND GUIDANCE. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS ARTICLE, THE EXPRESSION ‘CARE LEAVERS’ MEANS PERSONS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 17 AND 25 WHO HAVE EITHER BEEN LOOKED AFTER AT ANY TIME OR OTHERWISE SUPPORTED BY REGISTERED FOSTER CARERS IN ENGLAND OR WALES OR OTHERWISE SUPPORTED BY THE PUBLIC CARE SYSTEM IN ENGLAND AND WALES.
