Charitable objects
1) TO ADVANCE THE SIKH RELIGION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC MAINLY, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PRODUCTION OF RELIGIOUS MATERIALS AND THE UNDERTAKING OF EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES TO TEACH AND ENLIGHTEN PEOPLE ABOUT THE SIFKH FAITH. 2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN SIKH HISTORY IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY CONDUCTING AND SUPPORTING RESEARCH INTO SIKH HISTORY AND THE DISSEMINATION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH. 3) THE PROMOTION OF HUMAN RIGHTS (AS SET OUT IN THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS AND SUBSEQUENT UNITED NATION'S HUMAN RIGHTS CONVENTIONS AND DECLARATIONS) BY ANY OF THE FOLLOWING MEANS: - MONITORING ABUSES OF HUMAN RIGHTS; - OBTAINING REDRESS FOR THE VICTIMS OF HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSE; - RELIEVING NEED AMONG THE VICTIMS OF HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSE; - RESEARCH INTO HUMAN RIGHTS ISSUES; - EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ABOUT HUMAN RIGHTS; - RAISING AWARENESS OF HUMAN RIGHTS ISSUES; - PROMOTING PUBLIC SUPPORT FOR HUMAN RIGHTS; - ELIMINATING INFRINGEMENTS OF HUMAN RIGHTS.
