Charitable objects
3.2 THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ('THE OBJECTS') ARE: 3.2.1 TO PROMOTE EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS IN THE CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES OF NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANISATIONS, VOLUNTARY GROUPS AND CHARITIES IN THE PROMOTION OF ARTS, THE PROMOTION OF AMATEUR SPORT AND THE PROMOTION OF HEALTH AND WELL-BEING FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT; 3.2.2 TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT OF THOSE INVOLVED WITH VOLUNTARY AND NOT-FOR-PROFIT SECTOR ORGANISATIONS WORKING IN THE FIELDS OF THE ARTS, AMATEUR SPORT AND THE PROMOTION OF HEALTH AND WELL-BEING IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT. 3.2.3. "VOLUNTARY SECTOR" IS DEFINED AS CHARITIES AND VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS. “CHARITIES” ARE ORGANISATIONS, WHICH ARE ESTABLISHED FOR EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES. “VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS” ARE INDEPENDENT ORGANISATIONS WHICH ARE ESTABLISHED FOR PURPOSES THAT ADD VALUE TO THE COMMUNITY AS A WHOLE, OR A SIGNIFICANT SECTION OF THE COMMUNITY, AND WHICH ARE NOT PERMITTED BY THEIR CONSTITUTION TO MAKE A PROFIT FOR PRIVATE DISTRIBUTION. VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS DO NOT INCLUDE LOCAL GOVERNMENT OR OTHER STATUTORY ORGANISATIONS.
