Charitable objects
TO RELIEVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AMONG THE FAMILIES AND DEPENDENTS OF THE VICTIMS OF THE DISASTER OF THE SINKING OF THE FISHING VESSEL “THE PURBECK ISLE”, AND ANY OTHER PERSONS AFFECTED BY THE DISASTER TO THE EXTENT THAT FUNDS ARE NOT REQUIRED IN FURTHERANCE OF THE ABOVE, THEY MAY BE APPLIED AS FOLLOWS: 1. FIRSTLY, IN RELIEVING EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY PERSONS WHO ARE IN NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS AS A RESULT OF ANY FUTURE MARITIME LOSS WITH A CONNECTION TO WEYMOUTH AND DORSET; 2. SECONDLY, TO SUPPORT APPROPRIATE CHARITIES OR CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL IN THEIR DISCRETION SELECT.
