Charitable objects
THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ARE: 1. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION (INCLUDING THE PHYSICAL AND SOCIAL TRAINING) OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE 2. TO ADVANCE IN LIFE AND RELIEVE CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN NEED BECAUSE OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, FAMILY CIRCUMSTANCES OR OTHER SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DISADVANTAGE; 3. TO PROMOTE THE SOCIAL INCLUSION (INCLUDING PROVIDING EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES AND ELIMINATING DISCRIMINATION) OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY, OR PART OF SOCIETY, AS A RESULT OF BEING A MEMBER OF A SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DEPRIVED COMMUNITY; AND 4. TO PROMOTE THE SOCIAL INCLUSION OF OTHER MEMBERS OF ANY SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DEPRIVED COMMUNITY OF WHICH SUCH CHILDREN OR YOUNG PEOPLE ARE MEMBERS WHO ARE THEMSELVES SOCIALLY EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY, OR PART OF SOCIETY, AS A RESULT OF BEING A MEMBER OF A SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DEPRIVED COMMUNITY; IN PARTICULAR (BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION) BY PROVIDING AND ENABLING ACCESS TO EDUCATION AT INDEPENDENT AND MAINTAINED BOARDING SCHOOLS THROUGH THE PROVISION OF MEANS-TESTED BURSARIES, OTHER FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, ADVICE AND OTHER FORMS OF SUPPORT AND BY PROMOTING HIGH STANDARDS IN THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION AND PASTORAL CARE AT SUCH SCHOOLS.
