Activities - how the charity spends its money
ARC provides non-directive support and information to parents throughout antenatal testing.We offer parents specialised support for as long as is needed when a fetal anomaly is diagnosed. Our aim is to enable parents to make decisions which are appropriate to their individual circumstances. We also work closely with health care professionals in the field to help them deliver high quality care.

(A)TO PROVIDE NON-DIRECTIVE INFORMATION AND SUPPORT TO PARENTS AT ALL STAGES OF ANTENATAL TESTING;(B)TO PROTECT THE HEALTH OF PARENTS WHO ARE OFFERED A TERMINATION OF PREGNANCY BECAUSE OF ABNORMALITY AND, IF NECESSARY,TO RELIEVE OR ASSIST IN RELIEVING ANY MENTAL OR PHYSICAL ILLNESS SUFFERED BY SUCH PARENTS AS A RESULT THEREOF;(C)TO PROMOTE, OR ASSIST IN PROMOTING, RESEARCH INTO THE INCIDENCE AND EFFECTS OF TERMINATION OF PREGNANCY BECAUSE OF FETAL ABNORMALITY AND INTO METHODS OF ALLEVIATING SUFFERING ARISING THEREFROM AND PUBLISH THE RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH;AND(D)TO PROMOTE HIGH QUALITY CARE FOR PARENTS UNDERGOING ANTENATAL TESTING AND DEALING WITH ITS CONSEQUENCES BY WORKING CLOSELY WITH HEALTH PROFESSIONALS AND PROVIDING TRAINING TO THEM.
