TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PERSONS RESIDENT OR DOMICILED IN THE UNITED KINGDOM WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX OR RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINION BEARING IN MIND THE SPECIAL NEEDS OF PERSONS OF AFRICAN-CARIBBEAN ORIGIN AND HERITAGE IN PARTICULAR BY: 3.1.1. THE PROVISION OF SCHOLARSHIPS BURSARIES OR OTHER AWARDS WHETHER BY WAY OF GRANT OR LOAN FOR UNIVERSITY OR PROFESSIONAL TRAINING SCHOOL FEES OR OTHER EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES; 3.1.2. THE PROVISION OF EDUCATIONAL BURSARIES FOR OVERSEAS VISITS IN PARTICULAR TO AFRICA, AMERICA, ASIA AND THE WEST INDIES; 3.1.3. THE PROMOTION OF EXHIBITIONS, LECTURES,SEMINARS AND CONFERENCES; 3.1.4.
