Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY SHALL BE TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF KINGSTON UPON HULL AND IN PARTICULAR THE COURTS AREA OF THE ORCHARD PARK ESTATE IN KINGSTON UPON HULL (HEREINAFTER CALLED 'THE AREA OF BENEFIT') WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT AND OTHER VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS OPERATING IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT IN A COMMON EFFORT TO: (A)ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT; (B)TO DEVELOP THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY, AND HELP MEET, THEIR NEEDS AND TO PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY; (C)TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE; (D)THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT BY THE PROVISION OF OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR PLAYING FOOTBALL AND OTHER AMATEUR SPORTS WHICH PROMOTE HEALTH BY INVOLVING PHYSICAL OR MENTAL SKILL OR EXERTION; AND (E)TO ESTABLISH OR SECURE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A COMMUNITY CENTRE AND TO MAINTAIN OR MANAGE OR CO-OPERATE WITH ANY STATUTORY AUTHORITY IN THE MAINTENANCE AND MANAGEMENT OF SUCH A CENTRE FOR ACTIVITIES PROMOTED BY THE CHARITY IN FURTHERANCE OF ITS OBJECTS.
