TO WORK AT ELIMINATING THE CRIME OF TRAFFICKING IN PERSONS [AS DEFINED BY THE UNITED NATIONS PROTOCOL TO PREVENT, SUPPRESS AND PUNISH TRAFFICKING IN PERSONS, ESPECIALLY WOMEN AND CHILDREN, SUPPLEMENTING THE UN CONVENTION AGAINST TRANSNATIONAL ORGANISED CRIME; ALSO KNOWN AS THE PALERMO PROTOCOL]. TO ADDRESS THE UNDERLYING CAUSES OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING BY, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, SUCH ACTIVITIES AS; COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMS, TRAFFICKING AWARENESS PROGRAMS, FUNDRAISING PROJECTS, GRANT GIVING PROGRAMS, AND PROMOTION OF SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE DETERMINED. TO DEVELOP THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITY OF VULNERABLE PEOPLE IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY, AND HELP MEET, THEIR NEEDS AND TO PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY, IN ORDER THAT THEY ARE NOT SUSCEPTIBLE TO BEING TRAFFICKED.
