Charitable objects
(1) TO PROMOTE THE RELIEF OF ILLNESS AND SUFFERING IN SUCH WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT AND IN PARTICULAR IN THE CITY OF CHESTER AND THE MUNICIPAL BOROUGH OF ELLESMERE PORT AND ADJACENT AREAS AND IN PARTICULAR BY CONTRIBUTING TO THE ESTABLISHING MAINTAINING AND CONDUCTING OF RESIDENTIAL NURSING AND CONVALESCENT HOMES FOR THE RECEPTION AND CARE OF PERSONS OF EITHER SEX WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM ANY TERMINAL ILLNESS OR ANY OTHER ILLNESS WHICH IS BOTH PAINFUL AND CHRONIC AND BY PROVIDING MEDICAL OR OTHER TREATMENT OR ATTENTION FOR ANY SUCH PERSONS EITHER IN THEIR OWN HOMES OR IN A DAY CENTRE. (2) THE ADVANCEMENT OF HEALTH AND THE SAVING OF LIVES BY: (I) PROMOTING AND ASSISTING RESEARCH INTO ALL ASPECTS OF BLOOD CANCERS INCLUDING THE CAUSES DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT AND CURE OF ALL BLOOD CANCERS; AND (II) ADVANCING THE PUBLIC UNDERSTANDING OF BLOOD CANCERS. (3) TO PROMOTE THE RELIEF OF ELDERLY PEOPLE IN ANY MANNER WHICH NOW OR HEREAFTER MAY BE DEEMED BY LAW TO BE CHARITABLE IN AND AROUND THE COUNTIES OF HEREFORDSHIRE AND WORCESTERSHIRE. (4) TO ASSIST CHARITABLE BODIES: (I) INVOLVED IN END OF LIFE CARE; AND (II) SUPPORTIVE OF PALLIATIVE CARE OR COMPLIMENTARY THERAPIES.
