Charitable objects
TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN THE STUDY AND PRACTICE OF AFRICAN THEATRE AND PERFORMANCE. IN FURTHERANCE OF THIS OBJECT THE ASSOCIATION SHALL HAVE THE POWERS TO DO THE FOLLOWING 1. PROVIDE A REGULAR FORUM FOR SCHOLARS AND PRACTITIONERS TO MEET AND EXCHANGE IDEAS, KNOWLEDGE AND INFORMATION 2. PUBLISHING, DISSEMINATING AND ENCOURAGING RESEARCH AND INFORMATION ON AFRICAN THEATRE AND PERFORMANCE 3. TO PROVIDE INFORMATION ON AFRICAN THEATRE AND PERFORMANCE TO THE WIDER PUBLIC.
