Charitable objects

TO PRESERVE, PROTECT THE GOOD MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH OF UNPAID CARERS* AND THOSE THEY CARE FOR, WHO LIVE OR WORK OR HAVE A CONNECTION WITH WILTSHIRE AND THE NEIGHBOURING DISTRICTS, PARTICULARLY, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OF AFFORDABLE SHORT RECREATIONAL BREAKS. *A "CARER" IN TERMS OF THIS CONSTITUTION IS ANY PERSON WHO, WITHOUT DIRECT PAYMENT, PROVIDES HELP AND SUPPORT TO A PARTNER, CHILD, RELATIVE, FRIEND OR NEIGHBOUR, WHO COULD NOT MANAGE WITHOUT THEIR HELP DUE TO AGE, PHYSICAL OR MENTAL ILLNESS, ADDICTION OR DISABILITY. (AND NOT BEING 100% RESIDENT IN ANY INSTITUTION OR NURSING HOME AS DEFINED BY THE CHRONICALLY SICK AND DISABLED ACT 1970.
