THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY OR FINANCIAL HARDSHIP ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD BY PROVIDING, OR ASSISTING WITH THE PROVISION OF KEY RESOURCES, EDUCATIONAL CENTERS, PUBLIC HEALTH INITIATIVES AND OTHER PROGRAMS RESULTING IN THE CREATION OF SELF-SUSTAINING COMMUNITIES WITH THE OPPORTUNITY FOR ONGOING DEVELOPMENT.
