TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF PERSONS IN ALTON, HAMPSHIRE AND THE SURROUNDING AREA WHO ARE IN A CONDITION OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS (BENEFICIARIES) IN SUCH WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY:A)SUPPLYING FREE FOOD PARCELS AND OTHER GOODS EITHER DIRECTLY OR THROUGH AGENCY PARTNERS APPROVED BY THE TRUSTEES B)SUCH OTHER MEANS, INCLUDING BY (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) RAISING AWARENESS OF THE NEEDS OF THE BENEFICIARIES 2.TO DEVELOP THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN AND ADULTS IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY, AND HELP MEET, THEIR NEEDS AND TO PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY.
