Charitable objects
THE RELIEF OF UNEMPLOYMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN SUCH WAYS AS MAY BE THOUGHT FIT, INCLUDING ASSISTANCE TO FIND EMPLOYMENT. THE PREVENTION OF POVERTY, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, IN YORKSHIRE AND THE HUMBER BY PROVIDING GRANTS, ITEMS AND SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS AND/OR CHARITIES, OR OTHER ORGANIST IONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY. TO FURTHER OR BENEFIT THE RESIDENTS OF YORKSHIRE AND THE HUMBER, WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID RESIDENTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE RESIDENTS.
