TO PROMOTE THE CONSERVATION, REPAIR, RESTORATION, PROTECTION AND MAINTENANCE OF HISTORIC AND ARCHITECTURALLY INTERESTING AGRICULTURAL BUILDINGS AND THEIR SURROUNDS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE NATION AND WHERE POSSIBLE CREATING NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR SUCH BUILDINGS TO BE USED IN SUCH WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES IN THEIR DISCRETION THINK FIT; AND TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN THE HISTORY, ARCHITECTURE, TRADITIONAL BUILDING TECHNIQUES AND CONSERVATION, PRESERVATION, REPAIR, RESTORATION, PROTECTION AND MAINTENANCE OF AGRICULTURAL BUILDINGS AND THEIR SURROUNDS.
