To achieve our aims, HMSC undertakes a number of key activities: - The provision of free, high quality immigration advice. - The provision of housing and welfare rights advice. - The provision of a hot meal and welcoming environment, allowing visitors to relax, socialise and build up their support networks. - Undertaking campaigning activities.

Charitable objects
4 The charity's objects (Objects) are specifically restricted to the following: 4.1 To advance education and relieve financial hardship among all migrants, including refugees and asylum seekers, prioritising those facing multiple disadvantages and those residing in Haringey and other London boroughs; this will be achieved by providing support and specialist advice, particularly on immigration, housing and welfare issues. 4.2 To preserve and protect the physical and mental health of all migrants. 4.3 To provide facilities, both educational and recreational with the object of improving the conditions of life of those persons who have such needs by reason of their immigration status and their social and economic circumstances. 4.4 To advance the education of the public in general about the issues relating to all migrants.
