Activities - how the charity spends its money
An amateur choir, meeting for weekly rehearsals during term-time, the Society performs several concerts annually in the local area, which are open to the public and which feature sacred and secular works. The Society also performs occasionally at other events such as weddings. Rehearsals and performances are under the direction of the Society's professional Music Director.

THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ("THE OBJECTS") ARE: (1)TO ADVANCE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION IN, AND APPRECIATION OF, THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC IN ALL ITS ASPECTS BY ANY MEANS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT, INCLUDING THROUGH THE PRESENTATION OF PUBLIC CONCERTS AND RECITALS;(2)TO FURTHER SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSE OR PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION SHALL THINK FIT BUT IN PARTICULAR THROUGH THE MAKING OF GRANTS AND DONATIONS.
