THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: (1) TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF THOSE AFFECTED BY CONDITIONS AFFECTING THE EAR IN NEPAL AND THE HIMALAYAN REGION (OR ELSEWHERE IN THE WORLD AT THE TRUSTEES? DISCRETION) THROUGH THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, SUPPORT, EDUCATION AND PRACTICAL ADVICE; (2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN ALL AREAS RELATING TO CONDITIONS AFFECTING THE EAR.
