Charitable objects
1) TO RELIEVE DISTRESS AND FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AMONGST FAMILIES BEREAVED DUE TO MURDER AND MANSLAUGHTER WITHIN NOTTINGHAMSHIRE AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS INCLUDING THE FAMILIES AND FRIENDS OF SUCH PERSONS WHO ARE IN NEED (2) TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE PREVENTION OF SERIOUS CRIME, PARTICULARLY KNIFE CRIME. IN FURTHERANCE OF THE ABOVE THE CHARITY WILL IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY: - PROVIDE UNDERSTANDING PEER TO PEER SUPPORT, GROUP MEETINGS, FACILITIES OFFERING MENTAL AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES -EDUCATE PROFESSIONALS WORKING WITH MENTAL DISABILITIES DUE TO THE AFTERMATH OF BEREAVEMENT DUE TO VIOLENT CRIME HELPING TO IMPROVE A BETTER WORK ETHIC. -TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION AND AWARENESS TO ISSUES RELATING TO PROBLEMS FACED BOTH MENTALLY, PHYSICALLY AND FINANCIALLY BY VICTIMS FAMILIES -THE PROMOTION AND ENCOURAGEMENT OF GOOD CITIZENSHIP AND GREATER PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN TACKLING KNIFE AND GUN CRIME AND OTHER CRIME RELATING COMMUNITY ISSUES AND CONCERNS
