901Troop Marine Cadets provides opportunities for young people in East Anglia to develop into responsible, dependable and useful members of society. The Troop promote self-discipline and comradeship. The Troop teach the basic principles of leadership in preparation for adult life, through a system of military discipline, Royal Marine ethos, adventorous training and the discipline of music.

TO PROMOTE SELF-DISCIPLINE AND COMRADESHIP TO TEACH THE BASIC PRINCIPLES OF LEADERSHIP IN PREPARATION FOR ADULT LIFE TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE ACHIEVE THEIR FULL PHYSICAL, INTELLECTUAL AND SOCIAL POTENTIAL ALL THROUGH A SYSTEM OF MILITARY DISCIPLINE, ROYAL MARINE ETHOS AND ADVENTURE TRAINING.
