Charitable objects
1 . THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO MAINTAIN AND MANAGE A COMMUNITY HUB FOR THE USE OF THE INHABITANTS OF GOATHLAND AND ITS ENVIRONS IN NORTH YORKSHIRE WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, INCLUDING USE FOR: (A) MEETINGS, LECTURES AND CLASSES, AND (B) OTHER FORMS OF RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS. 2. AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DECIDE, TO ADVANCE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN PARISH OF GOATHLAND AND ITS ENVIRONS, BY SUCH MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DETERMINE INCLUDING THE RUNNING OF A COMMUNITY LIBRARY AND MAINTAINING ARCHIVES OR OTHER EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE SAID RESIDENTS
