Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE SOCIETY ARE SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO THE FOLLOWING: TO PROMOTE THE GOOD HEALTH OF THE PUBLIC IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND TO ADVANCE ITS EDUCATION IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: - PROMOTING THE PRACTICE AND ADVANCEMENT OF UROGENITAL RADIOLOGY; - PROVIDING A FORUM FOR DISCUSSION AND SUPPORT AMONG RADIOLOGISTS INVOLVED IN THE PRACTICE OF UROGENITAL RADIOLOGY; - FOSTERING OPPORTUNITIES FOR AUDIT, RESEARCH, TRAINING AND EDUCATION IN UROGENITAL RADIOLOGY; - ENCOURAGING AN INTEREST IN UROGENITAL RADIOLOGY AMONG RADIOLOGICAL TRAINEES; - PROVIDING EXPERT INPUT INTO CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENTS IN THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF RADIOLOGISTS; - PROVIDING A SOURCE FOR ADVICE ON ALL MATTERS RELATING TO THE PRACTICE OF UROGENITAL RADIOLOGY TO THE ROYAL COLLEGE OF RADIOLOGISTS AND OTHER RELEVANT BODIES; AND - SUPPORTING RADIOLOGISTS INVOLVED IN THE PRACTICE OF UROGENITAL RADIOLOGY INCLUDING THEIR EDUCATION, THE PROVISION OF INFORMATION AND BY RAISING THEIR AWARENESS OF ANY POLITICAL OR OTHER INITIATIVES LIKELY TO AFFECT THEIR PRACTICE OF UROGENITAL RADIOLOGY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT.
