Charitable objects
1. TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF BLIND AND PARTIALLY SIGHTED PEOPLE IN BASINGSTOKE AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT, EDUCATION AND PRACTICAL ADVICE. 2. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN ALL AREAS RELATING TO BLINDNESS AND VISUAL IMPAIREMENT. 3. THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INCLUSION AMONG BLIND AND PARTIALLY SIGHTED PEOPLE WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY, OR PARTS OF SOCIETY, AS A RESULT OF BEING BLIND OR VISUALLY IMPAIRED BY: · PROVIDING EDUCATION AND INFORMATION; · RAISING PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE ISSUES AFFECTING BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED PEOPLE BOTH GENERALLY AND IN RELATION TO THEIR SOCIAL EXCLUSION
