NORTHUMBRIA BLOOD BIKES
Charity overview
Activities - how the charity spends its money
Operating in County Durham, Northumberland & Tyne and Wear, our volunteer motorcyclists & drivers use specialist motorcycles and cars to assist local Hospital Trusts, out of hours, by providing free transport between them and other NHS facilities of urgently needed blood, platelets and medical resources. We have 6 Acute Hospital Trusts in our area and have SLAs covering all of them.
