BUILDING BRIDGES FOR PEACE ADVANCES CONFLICT TRANSFORMATION BY ENABLING THOSE INVOLVED IN HOSTILITIES TO BREAK THE CYCLE OF VIOLENCE AND REVENGE BY APPRECIATING THE HUMANITY OF THEIR OPPONENTS AND THE POWER OF EMPATHY.
