THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO RELIEVE AND PREVENT POVERTY BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS AND ITEMS (EITHER OUTRIGHT OR ON LOAN) AND OTHER SUPPORT TO ENABLE PEOPLE TO START THEIR OWN BUSINESS AND TO BECOME SELF-SUSTAINABLE.
