TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORY OF THE UK MOTOR INDUSTRY WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE VEHICLES PRODUCED BY ARMSTRONG SIDDELEY MOTORS LTD (THE MARQUE) AND JOHN DAVENPORT SIDDELEY, HIS CAREER IN ALL ITS ASPECTS, THE COMPANIES WHICH HE LED OR WAS ASSOCIATED WITH FROM THE EARLY DAYS OF THE UK MOTOR INDUSTRY THROUGH THE IDENTIFICATION, COLLECTION, AND PRESERVATION OF MATERIAL, KNOWLEDGE AND ARTEFACTS OF HISTORIC SIGNIFICANCE IN CONNECTION WITH OR PERTAINING TO THE ABOVE, BY ENCOURAGING RESEARCH AND THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF ARCHIVES AND THE PRESERVATION OF SUCH MATERIAL AND ARTEFACTS AND ANY RELATED MATTERS AS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME ARISE.
